Durango Xbox 720 codename is currently hovering the market – the story developed when Sean Tracy tweet about it and later removed it. Initially the rumors started floating from gaming website Kotaku and then from Crytek game developer. Although Microsoft Xbox 360 still has much to offer but users look too keen towards the Xbox 720 and any sort of information on Xbox.

Developers attention are focus towards the main event on E3 gaming conference to be held in June, after the developers summit held in London. The prediction and speculations are that the Microsoft Next Generation Xbox 720 release date to take place in 2013.

There is not yet substantial information revealed on Xbox 720 features. But it is expected that Xbox 720 to have a 6 times higher processor speed/power with AMD 6000 and similar chip like Radeon HD 6670 to support 1080p HD playback, 3D enhanced graphics and other awesome features.

Third Generation XBox will release in 2013

It’s not revealed yet the release date of next xbox. But microsoft is getting ready with its third-generation Xbox possibly for the holiday 2013 season. The  Manufacturers involved in this project expect the next generation game console to be unveiled at E3 2013, according to a report from the gaming-focused news site Develop.

It’s been a long wait — as many as eight years since the launch of Xbox 360, which caused a frenzy among gamers hoping to buy the one or two units available daily at retailers such as Walmart and the now-defunct Circuit City. After six years of strong sales, Xbox 360 unit sales slowed in the quarter ending Sept. 30. Microsoft has shipped more than 2.3 million units compared with 2.8 million during the same period as last year.

The gap between consoles has been punctuated by Microsoft’s introduction of Kincect , an add-on for Xbox players that uses the body as a controller. Most recently, Microsoft has added TV streaming to its Xbox Liveservice as it continues to position the console as the center for family entertainment. (more…)
