LG announced their glasses free 3D technology display to be available to customer next year year. This new LG DX2500 glasses free 3D display monitor has been released in South Korea. It is  available in 20 inch and 24 inch models. The best features of  the LG DX2502 is the parallax barrier 3D technology and an integrated camerafor enhanced 3D experience based on your position (head-tracking). What’s more, the LG DX2500 comes equipped with the “TUV Rheinland” certification. This glasses free 3D monitor is expected to be released internationally in 2012.

Breakthrough in solar cell technology as claimed by Taiwan researchers. A team of Taiwanese and Swiss chemists has developed new dye components that it said can potentially enhance the efficiency of solar cells.

The National Science Council (NSC) said the dye can improve the efficiency of dye-sensitized photovoltaic (PV) cells, Taiwan’s Central News Agency reported.

Such a feat can lead to very cheap solar cells and greatly contribute to the development of the photovoltaic industry, the CNA report quoted the NSC, which funded the research, as saying. (more…)

DNA in computer is a fantastic futuristic option in the field of computing. The word DNA computer conjures up scary images of a living computer that will take over the world. Well, things may be so simplistic in fiction but they certainly are not so simple in real life. Despite the fact that we know a lot about DNA, we still are not in a position to manipulate it to create computers as and how we require.

Today, semiconductor technology makes use of silicon and its characteristics to give us a good computing experience. There is a growing realization that the biology is going to be the next big thing in the world of electronics.
