Apple ipad 3 release date confirmed – the much awaited iPad will be available to consumers on March 16. iPad 3 lauched at its media event in San Fransisco and Tim Cook, CEO of Apple Inc briefly made some remarks on how iPad 3 is going to be most easy-to-use and friendly tablet for the users all around the world. Additionly, some latest updates were seen in the event – iPad 3 going to have grand opening on the Apple retail store located in Houston. So both, the launch of iPad 3 and grand opening of the store will take place possibly on same days.
The pre-orders of iPad 3 have started. Consumers from the following countries can get their first hand on iPad 3 on March 16. US, UK, France, Canada, Germany, Japan, Switzerland, Singapore, Australia, Hong Kong.

Apple Inc. is working with component suppliers and its assembler in Asia for the trial production of the next version of the iPad, possibly iPad 3, as reported by the Wall Street Journal last month.
Apple has ordered such components as display panels and chips for a new iPad and plans to debut it in early 2012, the paper said.
The new iPad is expected to feature a high-resolution display of 2,048 by 1,536 pixels. (more…)
iOS 5.02 release date
German site Macerkopf reports that Apple is working on iOS 5.0.2 to fix the bugs that is affecting iPhone battery life and iOS 5.1 to add more revolutionary voice assisted personal assisted feature.
Macerkopf reports:
iOS 5.0.2 coming very soon, solving the battery bugs. Should arrive before the end of next week. Apple is working hard on the update. In addition Apple ist working on the first big iOS 5 Update (iOS 5.1), bringing some siri-extensions. Also the Siri hardware-control is in work “take a picture”, “make a video”, “switch on/off WiFi”, “switch on/off BT” and more.
According to Macerkopf, Apple may release iOS 5.0.2 ”no later than next week” to address the remaining bugs that is affecting iPhone’s battery life. Apple had released iOS 5.0.1 approximately two weeks back to fix issues with battery life after upgrading to iOS 5. Today, Apple pushed out final iOS 5.0.1 to the public after two beta versions for iPhone 4, 3GS, iPad 1, 2, iPod Touch 3G and 4G. The update brings multi-tasking gestures to the first gen iPad, fixes battery drain issue and many other bugs found in iOS 5.0.
If you are currently on iOS 5, you can simply update your device to iOS 5.0.1 by going to Settings >> General >> Software Update. Alternatively, you can also update by connecting your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch with your computer, run the latest version of iTunes and it will pop-up a message saying that an update for your device is available.
