The much hyped talk last year came to an end after the official announcement of iPhone 5 release date by Apple and that the new model is iPhone 4S. We heard so much rumors on iPhone 5 in 2011 like iPhone 5 release date is affected by battery supply issues and that the iPhone 5 may gets a CDMA/GSM dual mode or that the iPhone 5 will be available on Sprint with unlimited data packages etc. Now that all eyes and ears are focused on the next version of iPhone (probably iPhone 6) – rumors have started around the official release date of iPhone 6.
What users expect before the iPhone 5 release date is the thinner iPhone with improved features like battery life, storage capacity, signal strength and video chat. Users and developer are now more concerned beforehand on the latest iOS and iCloud since last year all of these information kept secret even on the inauguration day of iPhone 4s.
Last year in early May, Apple purchased glass cutting devices specifically meant for reshaping curved glass and since then rumors started appearing on web that the iPhone 5 and new version of iPad 3 might have curved displays or use hi-tech IGZO display. One of the most anticipated affairs of 2012 is the iPhone 5 design. Rumors are that the phone was due to be launched on October 4th, 2011 but many fans got disappointed when the iphone which was launched turned out to be iPhone 4S.
Back in April 2011, the iPhone 5 design was revealed by Apple. This design gained much popularity amongst the fans. Much of the design publicity had resulted from Chinese companies, who copied the design and flooded the market instantly, and hence made huge profits out of it. Chinese companies also supplied the market with fake casings of the phone which triggered various reactions from the fans. Many retailers even accepted the rumors and started selling these casings thinking that these were real iPhone 5 design casings. Pittsburgh-based 4moms is getting ready to launch their newest product – the Origami- the worlds first power folding baby stroller. With the goal of designing better baby products for both new and old mothers, the company feels that the Origami is “everything a stroller should be.”
While different from the look of conventional strollers, the Origami “folds like nothing else and should therefore look like nothing else,” says a member of the product development team. Folding the stroller requires a two-step activation process (though it can be folded manually if desired) and no, it won’t accidentally fold up on the baby. This is due to multiple sensors built throughout the design that prevent it from folding if there is a child or obstruction in the seat. (more…)
