Should we expect Android next, Android 5.0 Jelly Bean in 2012 regardless of the rumors such as Android Ice Cream Sandwich did not able to make its mark in the consumer market? Well it’s bit early to analyze that Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is falling out of users’ expectations as number of android 4 enabled products are still in their early phase of test and trial. Digitimes’ sources did made some speculations on the release of Android 5 Jelly Bean and that it is expected the users will have the new Android OS devices later this year – much of this hype resulted due to the expected release of Microsoft’s Windows 8 platform in tablet PC. DigiTimes rounds out its post on the grounds that manufacturers are cooling towards Android 5.0 Jelly Bean – another odd statement when you look at the wide variety of Android devices being activated every single day worldwide. Android devices are still selling in huge demand and manufacturers will line up to develop Jelly Bean phones and tablets just as they’ve already with previous versions of the OS.

Similar rumors and speculations also merged since the release of the news that Android 5.0 Jelly Bean will be integrated with Google Chrome system functions and will have dual boot-ability. iPod touch 5g rumors
iPod fanboys and users are anxiously waiting for the release of iPod touch 5g after much of the speculations and rumors that circled around 5th generation iPod touch last year – and seems like 2012 will remain haunted by this news. Although we haven’t heard any official reports or rumors (from reasonable sources) but everyone is waiting for the release of iPod 5 this year along with other announcements from apple such as iPhone 5, iPad 3 and other smart phones.

iPod users were anticipated by the idea when apple staged an event “Let’s talk iPhone event” that was meant to show off other products by apple like upgrade to the iPod touch (apple did not mentioned iPod touch 5g). Various reports also suggest that apple is not going to announce iPod touch 5th generation release date as clearly they want more sales out of 4g to clear inventory. Similarly, no serious rumors have circulated around iPod touch 5th generation as we also observed that apple has a distinct way of launching their new product into the market – so we can speculate that iPod touch 5g and iPhone 5 may come along.

Similarly Apple doesn’t want their own competition in market in the form of iPod touch 5th generation when they expect more out of the bucket. And if it is to be released in 2012 users expect its price slightly slower since the iPod touch 4 is around $225.
